rather Warm Hand Ukes….

Thanks for a great evening on Wednesday night, great singing ‘n’ playing; I particularly enjoyed Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, which now I can’t get out of my head. Thanks. Lovely to see some old friends and new, as well as Chris and family while visiting from Barcelona.

For those techno-kids among you please find attached an updated version of The Other book with (thanks to Keith) Nowhere Man & Those Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days …
Paper copies available next time should you prefer …

Also, Patrick who joined us on Wednesday asked if we would like to participate at a ‘Last night of the Proms’ fundraising event in aid of St Wilfrids on Saturday 8th September and play for 30 minutes or so starting at around 7:30. We are invited to spend the remainder of the evening and enjoy the festivities. Have a think and we’ll have a show of hands next time…

Ooooh ooooh… Banjolele’s!!!……. Can we have a go at the Those Were the Days next time please?
Single soft thumb strums on the verses…
Bonkers for the La la la’s…
Every potential for a total disaster. Perfect.

As always, if there’s a song you’d like us to all have a go at, please find the words & chords, ideally on one sheet of A4….
Jim Carey’s songbook (https://ozbcoz.com/Songs/index.php) is a great resource… really easy to transpose songs too..!

See you all on the 11th… (unless an unlikely series of events happen, in which case I will be in front of a telly somewhere….)
