Lewes May Fayre

Dear beautiful strummers of Cool Hand Ukes….

Just a reminder that we are playing at the Lewes May Fayre this coming Saturday 20th May. See details of the event at ….

There is parking in the Cockshut Road car par near the venue, and the fayre is also very near the train station, and not far from the town centre.

Andy, Abi and I will be tipping up before the event opens to put a gazebo up for us to use.

We will be doing two performances, at 12:30-1pm, and 2:30m-3pm. Outside of these times we have the brief to be wandering minstrels…
We know it is a big ask to get you there from 1230 until 3pm. But please do come and spend what time you are able. We will be bringing picnics, so it would be nice too to have some lunch together between performances.

We may at some point run an informal session for kiddywinks, so please bring spare ukes and percussion instruments if you have them.

Bring your instruments, music stands, music books, pegs, and brightly coloured costumes and hats (we have Vikings and Saxons to contend with).

When you get to the payment table just tell them you are here to perform and you should not get charged the entrance fee.

And from memory, there is an excellent selection of food at the fayre, as well as a Harveys beer tent.

And I have added below a list of forthcoming performance dates for you all…

Thanks in advance from Andy, Abi and me if you can join us at the May Fayre.
