Aloha from The Dorset

Just a short note to say how nice is was to return to The Dorset last Wednesday, they made us very welcome and the opportunity to enjoy a beverage was welcome too. The new management have really gone to town – it looks as though they have splashed out on high wattage light bulbs, we could see what we were doing!

We spent most of the evening regaling in stories of past glories and singing laments long forgotten. Oh hang on, we didn’t do that at all. I’m remembering a dream haven eaten cheese too late in the day.

What we *did* do, was practice our Performance song-book for the upcoming Lewes High Street Busk for Cancer Research on Saturday 31st March, noon. We are just waiting on confirmation of the start time from the lovely Susan who organizes the event. If the start time changes we will let you know.

Our next Jam at the Dorset will be this Wednesday 21st 7:30 – 9:30 as usual. We will practice the Performance songs again. Also Jean has also kindly printed out some copies of a few songs for us to try, so we will give those a go too, if there is a song you’d like us to try, print out a few copies and bring them along.

We’ve also been invited to play at Uckfield’s ‘Big Day’ in the main arena on the afternoon of the 7th July 2018, perhaps have a think about whether you’d be interested in performing at this event, and we can discuss this on Wednesday.

So hope to see on Wednesday, or on the Saturday 31st, and remember you performance book, music stand, pegs and voice!

Mahola ma lovelies, Andy x
